Great Beginnings – celebrating 70 years of the Palomar Symphony Orchestra!
Palomar Symphony Orchestra
Birthday party! The PSO celebrates its 70th with inspirational beginnings, including a repeat performance of Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 in B minor, the “Unfinished,” played by the Palomar Symphony Orchestra in its inaugural season in 1947. Dr. Ching-Ming Cheng will join the Orchestra for Clara Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A Minor, started when Schumann was 13. The festivities will conclude with fireworks in a suite from Sergei Prokofiev’s first film score, Lieutenant Kije.
