Grace Fowler

Grace came to Palomar College in the fall of  2000 as a full-time professor in the Graphic Communications Department.  In this capacity, she teaches numerous courses related to graphic arts.  In the fall of 2013, she became a part of the music department at Palomar College as well.  Both disciplines allow for much creative expression, which for her is an integral part of life.

As a professor, she’s reminded of a quote by Albert Einstein which says “Creativity is Contagious, Pass it on.”  With that in mind, whether she’s teaching graphic art students or music students, her goal is to guide them on their path, as they develop their personal creative expression in art, music and life.

Her training includes a BA in music education with an oboe emphasis, a MS in Educational Technology, and numerous graduate hours spread over music, graphic arts and teaching, including graduate studies in Paris, France and Berlin, Germany.
