Randy Hoffman has served as the Publicity/Program Coordinator for the Performing Arts at Palomar College since December, 2004.
After studying music at San Diego State University, and photography at San Diego City College, he shaped a broad freelance background in photography, advertising, journalism and photojournalism, contributing to The San Diego Reader, KPBS On Air Magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine, The San Diego Union-Tribune, and Wood and Steel magazine (Taylor Guitars).
Randy has also enjoyed a music career (percussionist) for most of his life, performing locally, nationally and internationally in diverse venues including The Whiskey, Royce Hall (Los Angeles), Alice Tully Hall (Lincoln Center), Academy of Music (Berlin) and WDR Radio (Cologne).
Randy’s duties at Palomar Performing Arts include development of the Fall and Spring Season Brochures; the development of performance programs, literature and imaging; booking and managing the weekly Concert Hour series, and season performance titling and descriptions.
