A fine local violinist, Madeline Stewart, makes her Concert Hour debut! Ms. Stewart was only six years old when she started studying the violin. Years later she participated in the Young People’s Symphony Orchestra, toured China and New Zealand, and performed in the Sydney Opera House in Australia. Locally, for the past several years, she has been performing and teaching in San Diego County and recently she participated in the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in Vermont and Opera Neo’s local performances of Purcell’s The Fairy Queen and Mozart’s Don Giovanni as Principal Second Violin. Ms. Stewart enjoys performing chamber music in many different ensembles and musical styles and can often be seen performing with the Palomar Symphony Orchestra.
This Concert Hour Madeline Stewart will be performing with Katherine Dvoskin on piano as they present pieces from Fritz Kreisler, Mozart, Giovanni Battista Viotti and Christopf Willibald Gluck.
